Something’s Brewing at Epipheo (Studios)

So…you may have noticed that there’s been rather a dearth of new Epipheos being posted lately. Don’t worry—that’s only because we have something exciting brewing in our massive Awesomesauce cauldrons.

Since the dawn of time (or at least since 2008), Epipheo Studios has been bringing you epiphanies in video form. These epiphanies have covered everything from character development in Twilight (or the lack thereof) to Zazzle’s screen-printing technology. Most of the videos on our channels are advertisements we’ve been hired to create for clients. A smaller number, like the Twilight video and the recent Google+ video, are pieces that we created to express our own point of view or sense of fun.

Thus far, we’ve posted both kinds of video to the same online channels. Viewers who enjoy our more editorial content have had to sift through our commercial creations and vice versa. We realize this has been somewhat frustrating to our loyal fans.

And that’s why we’re proud to announce that VERY shortly, Epipheo Studios will be launching Epipheo.com, a site devoted exclusively to sharing our point of view on any and all topics, from technology to politics. This launch will allow us to divide our content into two distinct channels—editorial material under the name Epipheo and commercial videos under the brand Epipheo Studios. Each of these will have its own Facebook page, YouTube channel, Twitter feed, etc.

That means that those of you who are fans of our unpaid videos will be able to watch them without being bombarded with videos we’ve made for clients, and those of you who are fans of our commercial work will be able to see those without running into Twilight commentators. A good deal for all, no?

We’re taking a (RIDICULOUSLY) brief hiatus from posting new videos as we bring about this change. Please bear with us and stay tuned for more updates about this awesome new development. For now, back to the brewing cauldrons….
